The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is one of the 12 major Christian feasts. According to Sacred Scripture, this is the day when the Mother of God, at the age of 64, left earthly life and went to her Son. It is a special feast day for the Troyan Monastery of the Assumption, where the miraculous icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary is located. According to the anonymous chronicle of the monastery, it was fundamental for the construction of the monastery. On August 15, many Christians flock to the Troyan Monastery to venerate the miraculous icon of St. Mary.

Begin the Feast of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary with a festive liturgy in the Troyan Monastery and participate in the solemn procession with the miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary to the place where the first miracle was performed. In the afternoon you can relax and unwind in the Magic Garden, enjoying the sound of the water in the small pond with fish.
Walk - on foot or by bike
Do you like walking in nature or do you prefer cycling? Both options are great for exploring the village of Oreshak and the surrounding eco trails. We offer bicycles for our guests. Pass along the small charming eco-trails with your bike and enjoy the beautiful nature. You can also tour the neighbouring villages by heading in the direction of the Troyan Monastery. After s. Cherni Osam, about 10 km away, you will reach many beautiful meadows suitable for relaxation or a delicious lunch among the colorful vegetation.

Warm outdoor pool
The outdoor wellness area consists of an adult pool, a jacuzzi and a children’s pool. The artistic outdoor pool offers an impressive view of our herb garden and fruit trees, as well as the Troyan Balkan. The water in the pool is kept at a constant temperature of 27C-30C and is treated with salts using nature-friendly technology.
